Social Media Policy

Draft for organizational adoption. Shared standards for Fort Aldrich Incorporated and its initiatives, including First Republic Ranch, Kernel of Truth, the PTSD Defense Fund, Volunteer Corps, and Fort Aldrich Media.

Our standards

Use every channel with care.

Purpose and voice

Official channels advance the mission, share accurate information, document work, and foster respectful public conversation.

Authorization

Only designated administrators may create accounts, publish statements, advertise, or access credentials. Each account should have at least two authorized administrators.

Privacy and consent

Do not publish private information, participant stories, or identifiable images without appropriate permission. Use additional care with minors, health information, legal matters, and sensitive circumstances.

Accuracy and corrections

Verify factual claims before posting. Correct material errors promptly. Do not present legal or medical advice as organizational guidance.

Respectful participation

Harassment, discrimination, threats, doxxing, impersonation, misinformation, and commercial spam are not permitted. Comments may be moderated when they violate these standards.

Separation of channels

Initiatives may operate their own accounts. The corporate account speaks for Fort Aldrich; initiative accounts must identify their relationship and follow this shared policy.
